Another chance to mess about with the website. Well the good news (for a change) is that thanks to The Cooperative Bank, I will be studying again this February.
Continued illness and general bank holiday boredom gives me a chance to finally update the website. The contact form now works again, the links pages are slightly tidied up, and the Will Self page is finally up and running.
Signed up with the new ISP, UKLinuxNet which promises to give all profits to the Free Software Foundation and other deserving Open Source movements. Early days yet, but got a decent connection when I dialled in first time.
Exam Results!. Its been a turbulent couple of months since the exam, and I'd barely thought about these at all. As it happens I didn't need to! By some miracle, I managed 88% and an overall distinction.
I've had a home on the web for more years than I care to remember, and a few kind souls persuade me it's worth persisting with keeping it updated. This current incarnation of the site is centred around the blog posts which began back in 1999 as 'the daylog' and continued through my travels and tribulations during the following years.
I don't get out and about nearly as much these days, but I do try to record significant events and trips for posterity. You may also have arrived here by following the trail to my former music blog Songs Heard On Fast Trains. That content is preserved here too.
