Should never have complained about the lack of updates - another new gnome-core, gnome-applets and a host of other bits and bobs have arrived. Generally feeling a little better than of late, but need to focus attention on my job hunting. Very confusing and slightly frustrating evening trying to discuss subatomic particles and embedded systems with the Williams Brothers.
Well, yesterday was absolutely bloody awful. Must say that the support of my friends has been amazing over the past few weeks. Jobhunting must now accelerate, perhaps aided by a couple of certificates which arrived from Brainbench. Family still in a major spin. Yesterday was actually <<LIONEL>>'s first birthday!
Sad family news has thrown the weekend into a bit of a spin...and this is not going to be the greatest week anyway. Planning further tweaks to this site, and hopefully to the Traumatone site too, which will hopefully occupy me gainfully. Awaiting interview news too.
Quite a bit of trivial updating going on gnome-core 1.2.3.1, sawfish 0.33, gal 0.2.2, oaf 0.6.1 and gnome-vfs 0.4. I get restless when there are no Helix updates for awhile, which is usually when I break Evolution! Fiddled with this website a bit too (including a fancy looking background which exposes Navigator's woeful support for transparent PNGs.
I've had a home on the web for more years than I care to remember, and a few kind souls persuade me it's worth persisting with keeping it updated. This current incarnation of the site is centred around the blog posts which began back in 1999 as 'the daylog' and continued through my travels and tribulations during the following years.
I don't get out and about nearly as much these days, but I do try to record significant events and trips for posterity. You may also have arrived here by following the trail to my former music blog Songs Heard On Fast Trains. That content is preserved here too.
