Ploughing on with the study backlog. Tweaked the SegBox a bit more. I'm told it's not fantastic on Internet Explorer. Guess my answer.... Big news is that I have a job interview on 25th May. Need to read up on homelessness legislation...
My colleagues are vaguely disgusted at my continual visits to www.stinkymeat.net, but you must confess this is fascinating stuff! Fiddling with the backend of segfault results in a strange little pop-up thing - The SegBox.
This week has been quiet in a rather sinister, "what's around the corner" way. Hayfever approaches - I can feel it...Another story on segfault.org today! Maybe not as good as the first one. Decision time on whether to study next year looms - as ever, the money is the problem.
Got some study done, but my head is spinning with facts about palliative care. Kicked back a bit, and managed to write a trivial thing which tells you which Linux Kernel is current - its here.
I've had a home on the web for more years than I care to remember, and a few kind souls persuade me it's worth persisting with keeping it updated. This current incarnation of the site is centred around the blog posts which began back in 1999 as 'the daylog' and continued through my travels and tribulations during the following years.
I don't get out and about nearly as much these days, but I do try to record significant events and trips for posterity. You may also have arrived here by following the trail to my former music blog Songs Heard On Fast Trains. That content is preserved here too.
