Early walk into Burnham - a dismal and endlessly wet day showing no signs of brightening. Breakfast, then a series of bus journeys to Bath (since wandering around Clevedon in this weather would be pretty unpleasant). I've never been a great lover of Bath - always finding it somewhat snooty...

A night of disturbed sleep (possibly due to rather bleak reading matter?) didn't set me up fantastically for the return to work. Sort of blundered through the day, making reasonably accurate notes on a meeting I'd foolishly agreed to minute in a fit of charitable feeling last week. Couldn't settle,...
