As birthday weekends go, this was a pretty good one. Yesterday drank way too much wine and ate far too much Chinese food. Had a very pleasant evening celebrating interview success and impending birthday. Today, a drive out over the moors to the Blue Flame, then to Battleaxes at Wraxall...

Interview day at last. Wonderful frosty but bright morning. Started nervously but improved. Interview went well, managed to say all I wanted, and to sound reasonably confident. Extremely busy week. Seem to have been dodging around catching up with things at work, out of the office lots, and today at two rather tricky appeal hearings, which went well - but not without a lot of work.
