More packing, more panic - and to cap it all monitor appears to have died. Replaced with aging 15" Dell - trusty if small and hard to read. Dreading slipping off net. Boring day spent wondering what to do next, and where to find space to do things. ...

Heard that my application to rent had been approved. Much relief - for about 30 seconds before total panic sets in. Began packing in earnest. Work insanely busy with Secondary School Allocations. Learning lots, but feel I'm not proving my worth. ...

Burns Night Supper at the decidedly un-Scottish venue of Banwell Village Hall. Food excellent, piper pretty good and a generally pleasant evening. Later, there was country dancing - left soon after that began. ...
