Rebuilt GNOME2 from the ground up. All went swiftly and smoothly, and much improvement - especially in stability - is noted. GTK+2.0 arrived at last, and was immediately Slashdoted - with the usual display of ignorance and stupidity following. Went to Burnham, where if anything the weather was more unpredictable...

A series of reasonably trivial but annoying things happened today - culminating in a watchspring popping out and hitting me in the right eye. I'll survive. Last Bristol trip of the holiday, much running up and down hills before finally slumping before this weeks much anticipated episode of Black Books....
