First day of FOSDEM. Watched Stallman's opener incredulously. Wished I got more sleep, and that I had my laptop with me - especially because the programme of talks was somewhat light today. Drifted off early into Bruxelles and had food. Found an Irish pub, to which Hallski, MarkMc and friends...

Early start in bright and cold weather. Trains run perfectly. Met jf at Waterloo and caught the Eurostar, which was a trainspotter's ambition fulfilled.
