Woke up feeling industrious and reasonably happy. Imagine! Achieved much domestic progress early on, including fixing the porchlight, managing to both burn myself on the lightbulb and blind myself staring into the unseasonal sunshine! Despite the eternal constant that no cards would arrive today, and despite also my usual anti-traditional and anti-capitalist stance around such festivals, still a day of hand-wringing uncertainty.
