Found a major race condition in Gtkdial which I'd naively hacked my way around in the past! Fixed it, and implemented some pretty significant speed improvements by eliminating some system() calls which were clogging things up nastily. Consequently 0.2.20 is out now and is recommended. Otherwise a mildly irritating day......

At last the GNOME book is on its way from BOL! Just in time to coincide with a Royal Mail strike though. Otherwise life here is very quiet. Still no sign of Sawfish 0.34 RPMs from Helix yet. For the sake of my sanity, I think I'll wait. The I.P.Knightley...
