Exhausting week at work - severely under strength and very busy. Hayfever also hovering on the horizon. Got another assignment back - 70, really not bad in the circumstances. Holland v. Italy penalties was my most exciting Euro 2000 moment so far. Bit depressing really! ...

Back from an overnight in Southampton to meet American friends who are moving to the UK. All goes well, but the distance between B&B -> town -> docks is much greater than anticipated. I would strongly advise anyone against staying at the Winston Hotel - they really mean it about...
