I'm back after a frustrating weekend which saw my hard drive pack up entirely. Firstly, I'm amazed how much of the configuration process of this box I've remembered, and a lot of the problems I've had have been with tidying up after well-meaning "make it easy" installation tools etc! Anyway...

Woke up feeling worse than yesterday! Weird liquid head thing happening... Good start though - got 82 for the essay on Palliative Care. Collected a package from the Post Office - it was the Ed's Redeeming Qualities tape which I've wanted to hear again since John Peel played it in...
