Work on gtkdial continues apace...fixed a bug which occurred if you only had one ISP in your wvdial.conf file. The new Red Hat 7.0 RPM is here (and the 6.2 RPM is here). Still struggling with painful teeth!
Finally get the multi-ISP functionality going in gtkdial 0.2.14, and remind myself how to generate RPMs! Much still to do, but despite dental pain things seem to be moving along nicely.
In an amazing turn around in fortunes, I have a job interview on 27th November! Remains to be seen how that will go. Much messing around with GTK+/Gnome stuff today, which is a good sign too! Finding sleeping at the usual times quite weird after years of caffeine fuelled random sleep patterns.
Should never have complained about the lack of updates - another new gnome-core, gnome-applets and a host of other bits and bobs have arrived. Generally feeling a little better than of late, but need to focus attention on my job hunting. Very confusing and slightly frustrating evening trying to discuss subatomic particles and embedded systems with the Williams Brothers.

I've had a home on the web for more years than I care to remember, and a few kind souls persuade me it's worth persisting with keeping it updated. This current incarnation of the site is centred around the blog posts which began back in 1999 as 'the daylog' and continued through my travels and tribulations during the following years.
